What is the Educational Improvement Tax Credit? (PA EITC)
The Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program provides an opportunity for eligible businesses and individuals in Pennsylvania to direct their state tax payments towards education programs provided by the Universal Academy of Pittsburgh.
Instead of paying your state taxes, you and your business can channel those funds into scholarship and educational programs for students and get tax credits worth up to 90% of the PA state tax you pay.

How to Donate Securities to Universal Academy of Pittsburgh
Supporting the Universal Academy of Pittsburgh (UAP) is not limited to cash gifts. Donating appreciated assets, like stocks, mutual funds, or bonds, is one of the best, tax-efficient ways to help the school while enhancing the impact of your generosity.
When you transfer securities directly to UAP rather than selling them first, you avoid federal capital gains taxes completely. You can also claim a charitable tax deduction for the full current market value of your gift. This approach maximizes your support where it matters most.
